How much is a clay bar treatment in Jacksonville?
Wash, Clay & Seal starts at $120 for a sedan or coupe, $140 for a mid-size SUV and $169 for a truck or large SUV.
What does a clay bar do?
After a wash, some contamination stays bonded to the paint and you can feel it as a rough texture. A clay bar glides over the lubricated surface and lifts it off, so the sealant bonds to clean paint. It helps with the residue lovebug season leaves behind too, as long as it has not etched the clear coat.
How long does the sealant last?
The paint sealant in Wash, Clay & Seal is rated for 6 to 8 months.
Will a clay bar remove swirl marks?
No. A clay bar removes what is sitting on the paint, not damage in it. Swirl marks and light scratches need paint correction.
